Charles H. Craig

Charles Henry Craig passed away January 2, 2024, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Charles was born September 28, 1934, to Horace and Alma Craig in Spencer, Iowa. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a launching crewman. 

Charles grew up on a farm in Iowa. He never lost his love for country life; he enjoyed tractor pulls and collecting toy tractors. He also did carpentry work and was passionate about fire prevention, being both a fire inspector and Fire Marshall for Central Yavapai Fire District in Arizona.

Charles was hardworking and loved his family. He will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Alma, a brother Jimmie, and a son Cameron. He is survived by his wife Janet, his children Jackson Craig of Colstrip, MT; LaRinda Paulson (Jim) of Trenton, MO; Stacy Langston of Loma, CO;  Margarete Craig, daughter-in-law, Fort Mitchell, AL; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Iowa.
