It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chuck Reinert on 1/9/25. Chuck was born in Rockford, Illinois, to Charles and Agnes (Rumpf) Reinert. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife and family by his side after a 3 year battle with Sarcoma Cancer. He was 81 years old.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in-country in 1967, leaving just before the Tet Offensive in 1968. Chuck was a proud patriot serving honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He embodied courage and dedication to his country. Chuck spent many years working at the Grand Junction Regional Center.
He married Linda Clarke Reinert in May of 1974. They had one son, Kelen Clarke Reinert. After his military service, he built a loving home with his wife, Linda, and cherished his role as a father to their son. Known for his kind heart and quiet strength, he shared a special bond with his beloved dogs who were constant companions throughout his life.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda, his son Kelen and his wife Danielle and Grandchildren, Jaydan and Brody Reinert. Chuck will be deeply missed by his wife, son and all who knew him. His legacy of love and service will remain an inspiration. With Loving Memory…May the Fourth be with him!
