Dale Lynn Daniels

May 16, 1952 — October 20, 2024

On October 20, 2024, in the quiet town of Fruita, Colorado, Dale Lynn Daniels, aged 72, peacefully passed away after a short illness. Dale, born May 16, 1952, in Brush, Colorado, leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, Godly character, humility, and a life devoted to service.

Dale was the fourth of five children born to Virgil Lee Daniels and Frances Mae (Perry) Jenkins. From his early days growing up in northeast Colorado, it became clear that Dale was a person who cared deeply for others. His compassion and empathy were cornerstones of his character, shaping the way he lived every day of his life.

As a child, Dale learned the art of humor and pranking, something he carried with him well into his adult years. His quick wit and playful spirit became a hallmark in both his personal relationships and professional interactions. Some of his most cherished childhood memories were spending a week every summer in Brush with his grandma, Eva Daniels; and spending time on the Perry homestead by the South Platte River in Weldona, where he learned to love the outdoors.

It was in his hometown of Brush that Dale met the love of his life, Rebecca “Beckee” Dillner, who was working at Crane’s Café. Their whirlwind courtship led to a marriage at the young age of 18 in 1970. Together, they faced the trials of early marriage and discovered that love alone wasn’t enough—they needed God as their foundation. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Connie, Adam (Jennifer), Jacob, Emily, and Forrest (Britt).

One of the most impactful decisions in Dale's life was his attendance and 1984 graduation from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX, an experience that profoundly impacted both his personal and professional journey. Dale’s faith became an unshakable foundation for him and his family, guiding them through life's many ups and downs.

His primary occupation was in Oil & Gas, starting as a hand at Schlumberger and working his way up through schooling and dedication to management. Although he worked at various companies, he retired from Schlumberger after 25 years of service. He finished his working career with the pinnacle achievement of opening DLD Pipe Recovery Services, which today is owned and operated by his son, Adam.

Throughout his life, Dale was blessed not only with his children but also with eight grandchildren—Ireke (Marilyn), Falycia, Bailey, Morgan, Paige, Victor, Svaya, and Mia—and two great-grandchildren, Kenzi and Hunter. Watching the next generations grow brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dale’s life at Victory Life Church on November 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A time of sharing memories over lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation at https://www.theclevelands.info/
