Daniel Louis Alexander Romo II, born on March 19, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on December 21,2024, in Delta, Colorado. He was a remarkable individual whose contributions to his community were both profound and lasting, often undertaken in ways that went unrecognized by himself. Danny first made his mark as a plumber, skillfully working with his hands in various trades throughout his life. His handiwork can be seen in local schools and farms in Las Vegas and Delta, where he installed plumbing and fencing. Danny poured himself into every task he undertook, forever committed to improving the lives of those around him.

Danny was more than a hardworking man; he was a loving person with an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. His smile, when genuine, radiated warmth and kindness, reflecting the love he had for his family and friends. Danny loved deeply and unconditionally, embracing the complexities of human relationships with all his heart, whether the circumstances were good or bad.

His personality was multi-faceted—he was smart, protective, and at times, prickly. Nevertheless, those who knew him cherished his strong spirit and commitment to those he loved.

Danny’s greatest joy was found in music; he held a profound passion for all genres, often finding solace and connection in the rhythms and melodies that played through his life. He also enjoyed sports, playing pool, and spending quality time with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Danny was especially proud of his involvement with “The Odd Fellows Lodge,” an organization dedicated to community service and youth fundraising through bingo. This endeavor underscored his commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, and it is a testament to his character.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Vickie Watts; father, Devin Watts; stepmother, Kelly Watts; sisters, Trish Fleming with spouse & family, Lori Heid, Jamie Heid, Jamie Heid Jr, & Ethan Heid Jr., Erin Romo with spouse & family, Jessica Martin with fiance, Heather Cannell with spouse & family and Hailey Dell with spouse & family; fiancée, Toni Conger; stepdaughter, Kayton Conger; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews from the Romo, Deittrick, Martin, and Bean families. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Romo Sr.

Danny's legacy of love, hard work, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He may have underestimated the impact he had on the lives around him, but the difference he made will undoubtedly resonate for years to come.
