Darrell Terry Clifton

Darrell T. Clifton passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, he was 71 years old.

Darrell was born on January 14, 1952, in Collbran, Colorado to O.K. “Skip” and Lois Mae (Kraai) Clifton. Darrell graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1970. He attended CU Boulder.

Darrell had a variety of jobs in his life, he was a short order cook at Mesa Drug Store, he also worked at Valley Federal Savings and Loan, Suds n’ Sounds, Avco financing and Home Loan and Investments. He was a caregiver, always working behind the scenes to assist family and friends in their times of need.

He was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Roxann. He is survived by siblings Gary Clifton, Mike Clifton and Linda Clifton.

A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11am at the Grand Valley Event Center 2400 Consistory Court Grand Junction, CO 81501. This is a casual event.
