Diana Hamilton Brumby-
Born Diana Storer Hamilton in Fort Dodge Iowa on February 19, 1942.
The daughter of William L Hamilton and Janey Storer Hamilton
She married Paul George Brumby in 1960 and was with him until his death, August 1995.
As a daughter of the foreign service, Diana lived all over the world - South Africa, England, and Isreal and she carried with her the wisdom of her vast travel experience. Stateside, she was a resident of Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Minnesota and Colorado.
On the evening of January 10th, 2025 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Diana passed away while surrounded by the tremendous love of her daughters, She was 82. She met her death with great courage and dignity after being confronted with end stage cancer and a very precipitous end. Her grace, gratitude and strength of being were with her unto her last breath. We are forever grateful and honored to have the blessed time we shared.
Diana left a legacy of strong women. Her daughters Kathleen Throneberry, Carolyn Kaiser, Allison Hutchins and Ann Brumby hold the radiance that she passed on to them. Their husbands- Steven Throneberry, Bernard Kaiser, Brad Reed Nelson and Paul Hutchins continuously offered loving support. Her grandchildren, Kyle , Ryan, Laura, Madeline, Ben, Chloe, Bridget, Luca, Charlie and Isla hold Dammie in their hearts, as she was the greatest grandmother, ever. And that is how she would love to be remembered.
Unique, brilliant, intelligent, discerning, complicated, humorous, devoted, often playful, always beautiful- Diana was one of a kind. We will carry her essence in our hearts and minds, as there will never be another like her.
