Micky Smith

Micky Lynn Smith passed away May 17, 2023 in Collbran, CO. He was born March 16, 1959.

Micky was a wild and free man. He was loved by many. As he would let you know: He was an outlaw and loved it, and if you needed him, he would be there. He was everywhere all the time, never able to sit still. He was always looking for his next adventure. He enjoyed the outdoors, his natural habitat. Fishing and hunting were his times of joy. One thing he said most recently “If I don’t wake up in the morning, just know I died a happy man.” Micky truly lived a full and adventurous life!

Micky is survived by his son Cody Isakson (Jessica), and daughters Rebecca Botts (John) and April Bates. Four grandchildren, Brooklyn Botts, Gage Botts, Jason Webster and Jayden Webster. And three brothers.

He was preceded in death by his wife Leann Isakson, twin brother Ricky Smith, and both of his parents William and Leona Smith

Micky will always be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a small service with immediate family only at Island Acres on Friday June 9th.

We understand that there are people out of town who want the chance to come together for the name of Micky. Therefore, a Celebration of life service will be held at a later date to be determined with family and friends. Thank you for the continued support and love!
