Shelly Elaine Mason Booth

September 27, 1961 — June 8, 2024

Shelly Elaine Mason Booth, a vibrant soul filled with love and compassion, farewell to this world on June 8, 2024, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born on September 27, 1961, in Abilene, Texas, to her beloved parents Rex and Ginger Mason.

Shelly's journey through life was adorned with beautiful memories that she cherished dearly. From her newly discovered love for traveling to her memorable and humurous Yak-attack experience, she embraced each moment with enthusiasm. Shelly found joy in teaching her nephews the art of driving, passing on her wisdom and creating priceless bonds along the way.

Education was a cornerstone of Shelly's life. She graduated from Hampshire Fannett High School in Texas and went on to excel academically, even earning a place in the honor society. Her quest for knowledge led her to achieve a Bachelor's degree in business from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.

Renowned for her unwavering love and strong will, Shelly touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a self-motivated individual who held deep compassion for family and friends. Her devotion to her Lord shone brightly in all aspects of her life.

Shelly's diverse interests reflected her vibrant spirit. Whether spending time with family and friends or singing at church with her sister, she radiated warmth and positivity. Long drives in the Colorado mountains brought her solace, while supporting her daughter at swim meets and chaperoning Girl Scout events filled her heart with pride.

Among Shelly's proudest accomplishments were being a devoted mother and a self-taught artist. She poured boundless love into nurturing her daughter Bec and found solace and creativity through her artistry.

In the hearts of those she leaves behind, Shelly will forever hold a cherished place. She is survived by her loving husband Tommy Booth, daughter Bec, sister LeAnne Romkee (Dale), Justin Thomas Booth (Nicole), Kristen Michelle Hampton (Kenneth), Brandon James Booth, as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, aunt and uncles.

As we gather to honor Shelly's remarkable life at the Celebration of Life service on June 15, 2024, 11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grand Junction, Colorado; let us remember her as the most loving person who graced our lives with kindness and affection.
