Terry D. Kellerby, known to some as "TK", was born on June 15, 1952, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He passed away peacefully on August 30 2024, in his hometown, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Terry graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction in 1970 and honorably served in the US Air Force shortly after. "TK" then dedicated over 30 years of his life working at the US Post Office, a career he took pride in and that led to many lasting friendships.
Terry was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to watch them play in various sports and often volunteered to coach. He was a competitive bowler, besting his children every chance he got. His Broncos and Av's winning championships were some of his favorite memories, he loved the Rockies for other reasons. Terry shared his passion for nature and found great joy camping and fishing. He was also an avid gardener, often taking care of his pond, where he would relax with his beloved dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; his father, Dale; and his sons: Brian (Shasta), Darren (Leah), and Mark (Krissy). He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren who will continue to carry his spirit forward. Also mourning his loss are his siblings: sisters Bonnie (Jim), Sandy (Steve), Judy (Zane), and Donna (Jeff).
A Celebration of Life for Terry D. Kellerby will be held on September 14, 2024, 4:00 PM at the Clifton Community Center located at 3270 D 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO. Friends, family, and community members are invited to come together to honor a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.
Terry's warmth, humor, and love will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he has created and the love he has shared.
In leu of flowers please consider a donation to HopeWest or the Orchard Mesa Youth Legacy Bowling League.
